Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using DeskVeil ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and PrivDev regarding your use of DeskVeil.

Paid Application
One-Time Purchase
DeskVeil is a paid application available through the Mac App Store. Upon purchase, you receive full access to all features with no recurring fees or subscriptions.
Family Sharing
DeskVeil supports Apple Family Sharing. Once purchased, family members in your Apple Family Sharing group can download and use DeskVeil at no additional cost.
Payment and Refunds
Payment Processing
All purchases are processed through Apple's Mac App Store. Your payment information is handled securely by Apple and is not stored by PrivDev.
Refund Policy
Refunds are handled through Apple's standard Mac App Store refund policy. Apple typically offers refunds within 90 days of purchase.
Updates and Versioning
Minor Updates
Your DeskVeil license includes free minor updates (e.g., v1.1, v1.2, v1.3) that include:
Major Version Updates
Major version updates (e.g., v2.0, v3.0) with significant new features may require a new purchase. However, existing customers receive special benefits:
Fair Upgrade Policy:
You'll never be forced to upgrade, and your current version will continue to work. Major versions typically happen every 2-3 years with substantial new capabilities.
System Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Multi-Monitor Support:
DeskVeil fully supports multi-monitor setups. Each monitor can be controlled independently, allowing you to hide icons on specific displays while keeping others visible.
Disclaimer of Warranties
DeskVeil is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. While we strive to make the App reliable and useful, we cannot guarantee that it will be error-free or available at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrivDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of DeskVeil.
Termination
You may stop using DeskVeil at any time by simply uninstalling the App from your device. Your purchase remains valid for future installations via the Mac App Store.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms, though we will make reasonable efforts to contact you first.
